Verbal
Verbal items test how precisely you read, reason about word relationships, and follow logic under time pressure.
Spot the relationship in one pair, then complete a second pair that mirrors it.
Pick the word that means the opposite of the prompt word.
Choose the word that best fits the logic and tone of a sentence with a gap.
Read two premises and decide which conclusion must logically follow.
Compare strings, names, or codes and flag the exact match or mismatch under time pressure.
Math & Logic
Math and logic items test fast, accurate calculation and pattern recognition, all without a calculator.
Work fast, accurate calculations with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
Reason about parts, proportions, and percentage change without a calculator.
Translate a short scenario into the arithmetic that answers it.
Find the pattern in a sequence of numbers and supply the next term.
Track how letters shift through the alphabet and supply the next letter or group.
Read a small table or chart and pull out the value the question needs.
Work out distance, speed, time, and shared-work rates without a calculator.
Spatial
Spatial items test how well you track and manipulate figures in your head, the hardest category to fake.
Track how a figure changes across a sequence and predict the next shape.
Infer the rule across a 3x3 grid of figures and choose the missing cell.
Find the single figure that breaks the rule the others share.
Decide which option is the prompt figure rotated or flipped, not a different shape.
